Introducing S/V Atypic 2.0! This Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 is a proven offshore cruising catamaran produced by the French shipyard Fountaine Pajot, designed by the architectural duo Joubert/Nivelt together with Olivier Flahault. This model has earned accolades in the sailing community, with documented transits across both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, featured in prestigious French sailing magazines such as Voiles et Voiliers and Multicoques Mag. There were two keel options offered: a standard keel, and a bilge keel reducing draft to 1.10-1.20m. This vessel is the bilge keel rendition, perfect for exploring shallow waters.
Step aboard S/V Atypic 2.0 and enjoy the spacious interior, featuring an impressive headroom of 1.98 meters. The thoughtful 4-cabin layout accommodates up to 8 guests comfortably, complemented by 2 heads, each equipped with showers and Jabsco manual toilets. Each cabin is designed for relaxation, offering cozy berths with ample storage and opening hatches for fresh air, along with Sirocco fans to ensure a comfortable living environment. The galley is generously sized and boasts modern amenities, including a new four-burner stove, oven, and sink, all installed in May 2026. There is also a large top-loading refrigerator, along with a 20L hot water tank for your convenience. For your comfort, new interior and exterior cushions were installed May 2026.
S/V Atypic 2.0 is powered by 2 new Volvo Penta D1-30 engines, installed on February 5, 2026, with only 180 and 150 operating hours logged. These engines come with a comprehensive warranty under Volvo Penta’s International Limited Warranty for marine leisure use, which includes 24-month coverage, with select major components protected for up to 60 months or 2,000 hours, whichever comes first. Although new sail drives were included with the engine purchase, the previous sail drives remain in good condition and were not replaced. Additionally, new engine controls were installed recently. The sail inventory consists of: a Genoa (35 m²) in good condition, (serviced in May 2026) with roller furling, a 2022 Rolly Tasker mainsail (55 m²) featuring three reefing points (serviced in May 2026), and a new lazy bag installed in May 2026 for ease of sail management. The Storm sail is in like new condition and Facnor spare parts are available for the Furler.
After several years of adventure living aboard and thousands of nautical miles sailed, the current owners are offering this wonderful catamaran, which is fully equipped for blue water cruising and off-grid living. Among some of its other high-end features are:
