This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a blue water cruiser ready to sail away.
For comfort both at sea an in port, you’ll have to go a long way to find a better boat. Her six-berth accommodation is sensible and roomy, yet practical. She has the form stability and easy motion for running down the Trades but is stiff enough to bash upwind.
If you sail year round and want a boat for all seasons, she fits the bill. Her accommodation is very comfortable and well thought out, without being over-the-top in luxury. A family of four could make a three-year circumnavigation in this boat and still be able to talk to each other at the end of it.
The owners were due to continue their circumnavigation this coming Spring but circumstances mean they have had to change plans. Lying in Shelter Bay Marina Panama (entrance to the Panama Canal), this boat is ready to step on board and take across the Pacific or back into the Caribbean or anywhere else you may like. This is not a project!
The boat is under guardianage at Shelter Bay and is regularly checked with dehumidifier keeping the cabin in perfect condition. Recently sailed from Curacao to Panama, prior to which she was antifouled, engine serviced and new Sail Drive diaphragm fitted (good for 7 years) .
A quick walk thru shows her with a huge forward V berth and ensuite head with shower stall keeping bathroom dry. Dressing table and built in wardrobe to Starboard.
She has a main saloon with dining table to Starboard. 1 side converts into sea berth with lee cloth. Galley to Portside. Double stainless sink, gimballed gas HOB with oven and fold over countertop. Drawer and ample cupboards. Fold down extra counter top to forward. Opening hatch above.
At the stern is a crew cabin with bunks and skippers cabin with chart table instruments and a further double berth and aft-heads. Topsides is a good sized cockpit with high combing for comfort while at sea or at anchor. Glass mini windscreen with full dodger attached and foldaway bimini for shade in the sun and rain.
Delphinus is ready to go thru to the Pacific, or back into the Caribbean and start your cruising life in a solid safe ready to go boat.
