Introducing S/V Sea Shanty, this 1972 41’ Morgan Out Island was designed by renowned yacht designer Charles Morgan and built by Morgan Yachts in the United States. The Morgan Out Island series has become one of the most popular and commercially successful yacht designs in this size range, in fact there are more than 1,000 still sailing around the world today! These vessels were built stout and were used extensively in the charter industry as well as being a popular choice for many cruisers.
The 41’ Morgan Out Island was built with a variation of layouts, S/V Sea Shanty is the walk-over model. The walk-over model provides excellent privacy for those wishing to charter, have guests, or for a cruising family. On the starboard side there is plenty more storage and counter space. The salon seats many guests with a settee to starboard that can be used for a single berth. Going forward the port-side head with a shower and the bow cabin with a cozy queen berth provide additional comfort and storage. The vessel is well-ventilated with 14 opening ports, complemented by transom, aft cabin, bow cabin, and galley hatches.
