A comfortable cruiser in a comfortable size to singlehand, be cruised by a couple or a small family. Gulfstars were created by Vince and Richard Lazarra who after many years of working for Columbia Yachts, went on his own and designed this renowned group of cruising yachts and trawlers. They were build solidly predominantly of fiberglass with teak trim and lovely accents. Its masthead sloop rig, vertical transom and skeg hung rudder help carry its 2260 kg of ballast.
This is truly a boat you can step onto and sail away in. No work needed. She comes fully equipped with watermaker, generator, washing machine, linens and crockery, sunshades, window screening, anything you can think of. Bring your personal items and sail off to San Blas, or thru the Panama Canal into the Pacific Ocean. The world is at your fingertips with this fine cruiser.
Steadfast’s current German owners are finished their cruising life and ready to hand the yacht to its new caretakers to continue its journey. Shes been through a couple of refits, with new gelcoat and epoxy barrier and bottom paint in 2019, and a newer Yanmar 4JH engine in 2007, with only 1400 hours on it. She is kept in immaculate condition by her caring owners who have sailed her for only 6 months a year for the past 5 years. Her light use is evident and she shows very well.
Entering from the teak accented central cockpit down the 5 steps to a comfortable galley/ salon space, you will feel right at home in this immaculately kept cruiser. Her clean spacious interior with varnished woodwork below is a welcome home.
Galley to portside with double stainless sink, 3 burner Force 10 gas oven, and watercooled refrigerator/ freezer with plenty of counter space will welcome any cooks. Forward of the galley is the port and starboard settees with table between with its drop leaves for both sides. A nice sized TV monitor hangs on the freshly varnished wall forward. A hanging locker to port and head to starboard leads into the V berth forward cabin. Currently used as a storage area, this space can easily be converted back to a sleeping quarters with the addition of a mattress.
To Starboard of the companionway steps is a spacious Navigation area and generous sized desk space. Arranged to fit full size paper charts, this is a lovely office area. A cupboard shelf is aft, and leads to thru the passage which has a soundproof door to the full engine room with all its instrumentation including the engine, generator and related components. All systems instruments and controls are in this area.
The aft cabin has spacious hanging lockers, shelves and drawers, and its own ensuite head with Raritan head and teak shower grate on floor. Sleeping arrangements are to port and starboard with plenty of opening ports and hatches for ventilation.
She is available for viewing in Linton Bay Panama, where she securely sits n her own mooring, which is included.
